TMS Environment Ltd has completed a significant number of applications for Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) Licences for facilities in various industrial sectors. The licence application must identify and assess all potential environmental emissions from an activity. Applications will include assessments of all environmental emissions which shall include:

• Discharges to surface waters
• Discharges to sewer
• Discharges and emissions to ground
• Noise and vibration emissions
• Solid waste management – hazardous and non-hazardous

The application will also address:

• Energy usage
• Closure, aftercare and residual management plans
• Environmental liability risk assessment

A particular specialisation of TMS consultants is the provision of support to licence holders in demonstrating and achieving compliance with licence conditions, including the preparation of the specialist reports required by the EPA.
